Not just the menu shot. Each dish styled at the table with the wine, the bread and the hands that serve it, and lit like the room at its best, for the website and the feed.

Drinks move, so the photos should too.

Share the Bottle is the Reel, with the hook on screen and sound. Wine Wall and The Double Pour are silent stop-motion loops, made for stories, the website or a screen behind the bar. The stills below are from the same bar shoot in Hallandale.

Course 04 · The room

The room

Hallandale and Fort Lauderdale
4:3 film
Reel

The view, the room and the people in it.

Frames From Patrizia's is a slower film on the water in Hallandale. Dessert Date follows two people through dessert and espresso martinis at the bar: a story the restaurant can post, not just a plate.

To-go + the menu

Built for delivery

Shot for DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub and online menus
Reel

Delivery is a second dining room.

Built in the Box turns a to-go order into a stop-motion Reel, with the branded box and the delivery apps in frame. The menu photos below are sized for the apps and online menus, lit on set and retouched clean.

Process

How a shoot runs

Menus, events and monthly content
  1. 01

    Brief

Go through the menu, the references and the shot list with you or your manager before the day.

  2. 02

    Light

Read the room and light it: strobe for plates, continuous light for video, the room's own lamps kept warm.

  3. 03

    Shoot

Photo and video in the same 3–4 hour window, working around guests and staff.

  4. 04

    Deliver

Reels, menu photos sized for the delivery apps and organized footage, on the deadline we agree up front.
